Enjoy a leisurely time visiting the famous Stone Store and Christian Mission House at the Kerikeri Basin. 
View Kororipo Pa where the warrior Maori chief Hongi Hika had his coastal stronghold and learn of his
exploits and the bravery of the early missionaries to New Zealand.  Shop for authentic frontier trade
goods from the old Stone Store.

Explore Rewa’s village, a replica Maori fishing village, and the botanical gardens with native flora. Learn
what they used for medicine and for food.

Visit Saint James church and see its’ wonderful stained glass windows.  Read the historic gravestones
where many of the early settlers are buried.

Visit the amazing Rainbow Falls.  Look down at the waterfall while standing on the viewing platform. 
See how many rainbows you can count as the sun reflects on the spray.  Enjoy breathing in the
oxygenated air.

Shop your heart out in Kerikeri’s shopping center.  Cafes abound so have lunch at your leisure.

On your return to the wharf you will stop at the Makana Chocolate Factory where you can taste a few
samples and purchase gifts and indulgences.  The Kauri Workshop is close by where you will see a
wide range of handcrafted wood made entirely New Zealand native timber - Kauri, rimu, totara,
pohutukawa and their collection of ancient wooden artefacts.

The minimum number for this tour is two passengers. Small group tours are our specialty, usually
up to six passengers.

Cruise ships arriving at The Bay of Islands will tender to Waitangi Wharf.  It is necessary to
be on a tender at least 40 minutes prior to your tour departure to ensure you are not late.

To board your tour, please disembark your ship’s tender and make your way through
the covered gangway.  Your tour will depart from the bus parking area on the road
leading to the wharf, where all tours and shuttle buses depart from.

your name on a welcome board.
